Join us on Saturday mornings at the Kuranda Conservation Community Nursery
Feel free to pop by to 1 Pademelon Lane Kuranda – we enjoy the company of our friends and visitors on a Saturday morning at tour 6000 plant nursery and get heaps of seeds sown and plants potted – along with downing cups of tea and coffee. We are always open but sometimes not! We may be out planting, tracking cassowaries or dealing with pesky pigs. Please feel free to pop by to 1 Pademelon Lane Kuranda or phone 40938834.
Visit the Nursery page to find out more details including the Nursery Plant List, Seed collection, Plant me Instead! and the importance of weeding out weeds.
Plants are available to members of the public at a modest price and advice about where and how to plant is free of course. KCons also provides plants for allied organizations.
Other services available on Saturday and other mornings are:
- Trailer hire
- Snake removal
- Feral pig trapping
- Identification of local native plants including vines, shrubs, trees
- Purchase of worm manure
